Residents and visitors are advised of upcoming construction on the McClory Bike Path. Beginning July 21, the stretch between Westleigh Rd and Old Elm Rd will be widened and resurfaced by the City of Lake Forest. Work is expected to last approximately 3 weeks.
Detour Info: A detour will be in place through the subdivision west of the path. Please follow posted signage to navigate safely.
Additional Work: The Lake County Department of Transportation (LCDOT) is also performing concrete patching south of Old Elm Rd. While it’s unclear if the timelines will overlap, no detour will be provided for that section.
