The Highwood Police Department would like to advise residents and business owners that there have been recent crime incidents in the area you should be aware of. On November 2, 2014 an armed robbery occurred in the 1900 block of First St., Highland Park, IL about 5:30 pm. On November 3, 2014 a second armed robbery occurred in Highland Park at about 6:55 am.
The suspect is believed to have committed both crimes. He is described as:
-Male, White
-Approximately 6'0' tall
-Wearing all black (possible North Face or similar jacket)
-Face covered
-Gloves with white or silver markings on the back
-Spoke English with no accent
The suspect implied a weapon (right hand in pocket) but did not display one in either case.
