Compost Bin, Rain Barrel and Native Plant Sale

Would you like to make your home green and thriving, increase your garden productivity, conserve water and save on your utility bills, bring wildlife to your yard, and benefit the environment, all at the same time? A very special opportunity is being offered with a special Rain Barrel, Compost Bin and Native Plant Sale on Saturday, May 9 at the beautiful Independence Grove Forest Preserve in Libertyville, IL. The Sale will be held from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm. Compost Bins, Rain Barrels and Composting Accessories will be offered at a reduced rate (great value) and there will be a wonderful variety of native plants, shrubs and trees available. Experts will be on hand to answer how-to and other questions. Native Plants (only) will also be available for sale on Sunday, May 10 from 10-2. Sponsored by SWALCO (Solid Waste Agency of Lake County), Lake County Stormwater Management Commission and Lake County Forest Preserves. Please join us. Quantities may be limited.
