Recent complaints have been received from residents receiving telephone calls from subjects representing themselves as COM ED employees requesting immediate payment on past due bills with the threat of service shut off if payment is not sent. COM ED is aware of this scam and advise that if you receive such a call to hang up and contact COM ED 1-800-334-7661 and check your account.
