Friends of the Highwood Public Library Book Sale!
The Friends of the Highwood Public Library is a newly formed nonprofit group that works to raise funds on behalf of the Highwood Public Library and the community. The money raised will further support the Library's literacy focused programs currently being offered/developed.
The Friends are excited to host their first fundraiser for the Library with all proceeds going towards library programs for adults and children and program supplies. The Friends of the Highwood Public Library Book Sale will be held:
Dates: July 27 and July 28
Time: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
We hope you will come out and buy some books to support the Library. While you visit, you can hear about new programs and services we are offering (such as Robotics Club, Youth Game Night, Coding for kids, Adult ESL, and Spanish GED) and see our new furniture and freshly painted Children and YA Rooms.
Volunteers Needed!
You can also support the library by volunteering during the book sale (1 or 2 hour time slots) or the week prior as we get the books ready to sell.
