[ARCHIVED] Candlelight vigil in Everts Park from 6:30-9 PM, this evening.

BW White

In response to the tragedy in Downtown Highland Park, the Celebrate Highwood organization has decided to cancel its regular programming for the Wednesday Evening Gourmet Market, tomorrow, July 6.
There will be no vendors, sponsors or music onsite, rather we want Everts Park to become a haven for community to gather and honor the victims, survivors, and all those impacted by this senseless tragedy.
We welcome the public and all of you to come out to a candlelight vigil at Everts Park from 6:30-9 PM and join our community members as we collectively grieve, process and begin to heal.

A ceremony will be led by Mayor Pecaro, Rabbi Michael Sommer and Father Hernan Cuevas at 7:30pm.
