Information from the Highwood Police Department: During the Holiday season, some types of criminal activity can increase. Please be vigilant of your surroundings. Watch for strangers and strange vehicles on your block. A Highwood resident was robbed of her purse yesterday by two unknown offenders. NO WEAPONS WERE DISPLAYED OR IMPLIED. The Police are investigating the incident.

Please report anything suspicious to the Police. There is no incident too small to report. Call 847-604-8992 if you would like to report activity that concerns you or to speak with an officer.
