Ashland Avenue and Alley Resurfacing and Curb Work

PROJECT: Alley and Street Resurfacing and Partial Curb Replacement
LOCATION: Ashland Avenue and Alley
START DATE: APRIL 22, 2019
PROJECT: the City of Highwood, through its contractor ALamp Paving, will be repaving the alley between Webster and Walker Avenues and will be repaving Ashland Avenue. There will be no street parking allowed during the project and there will be no access to the alley during the project. There will be no delivery or garbage service accessible from the alley.
TIMELINE: the work will begin on Monday April 22, 2019. The alley work will take approximately 2 weeks and road work will take about a month (severe weather may impact the schedule).
Alternate overnight parking will be allowed on Webster and Lakeview Avenues and other on-street locations. Please monitor pets and children taking care to avoid the construction vehicles.
