Friday, October 25
Hours: 3 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Location: Check in at City Hall to receive a map of business participants
Businesses in downtown Highwood are getting a head start on Halloween this year, welcoming trick-or-treaters on Friday, October 25, between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. for “spooktacular” sweets, surprises, swag, and special deals.
Trick or Treat begins at City Hall, 17 Highwood Avenue, where everyone—including ghosts and goblins, wizards and witches, sports stars and superheroes—can pick up a map to all the fun and a free glow-in-the-dark candy bag. More than a dozen Highwood businesses are participating as stops on the route. Registration is free and optional, but highly suggested to stay up to date on Highwood events.
Parents and trick or treaters alike can cap off their frighteningly fun day at the Bank of Highwood-Fort Sheridan, the event sponsor, for a refreshment at the available hot dog stand.
